辞朝归薮:在喧嚣中重拾读书人的清静
This is the first post on this journal after stepping away from a quarter-century of work-life routine.
Everywhere we look today, the noise is deafening. We are bombarded by the perpetual, frantic hymns of corporate managerialism - systems obsessed with metrics, efficiency, and scale, turning human existence into a series of optimized data points. Side-by-side with it stands a certain brand of arrogant scientism, marching forward with immense technical power yet utterly blind to solvency of the soul. They can map the system down to the last node, but they have nothing to say about the quiet weariness of living within it.
We are told how to work, how to consume, how to feel, and how to measure our worth.
This journal is built as an antidote to that hollow hype.
Language as a Lensing Instrument
The Chinese language is not merely a tool for communication or a relic of ancient dynasties. It is a dense, living architecture of perception. Its constructs and concepts, honed over millennia, do not aim to dissect the world into dead, mechanical fragments. Instead, they offer holistic, non-linear ways to probe the fundamentals of our own existence: how we steady the mind amidst chaos, how we calibrate our intentions, and how we navigate the shifting currents of life.
Here, we do not rehash textbook interpretations or bow to dusty academic orthodoxy. We take classical propositions and terms not as museum artifacts, but as sharp, living instruments for modern survival and reflection.
A Twist of My Own
To think independently today requires a retreat. Not into escapism, but into clarity. This journal is not meant to be an ivory tower detached from reality; it is a sanctuary where a person could step back, see through the illusions of the era, and reclaim agency over his own mind.
Through these notes, essays, and cross-referenced explorations, the goal is simple: to pierce through the corporate fog, question the unexamined assumptions of modern life, and invite a quiet appreciation for the enduring beauty and peace this world still holds.
Let the noise outside continue. Inside, we begin.
